Centennial Development

Some of you may have received a postcard from James Mayerl, Senior Planner (719) 385-5360, yesterday about a new development on Centennial. Homeowners living within 500 feet of the proposed development should have received notices. In addition, a City notice of planning review was posted on Thursday. Well, members of the Pinon Valley Neighborhood Association have received them as well and we noticed a city review sign on the property in question.

Colorado Springs City Planning and Community Development has scheduled a neighborhood meeting to discuss a request from Mackenzie House for an assisted living facility for the elderly at 5315 through 5355 Centennial Boulevard. This property is immediately south of the Mormon Church.  Representatives from Mackenzie House and the City Planning department will attend the meeting.

Detailed plans of the proposed development will be presented at the meeting to be held at Chipeta Elementary School on February 4 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 30. PVNA representatives will be present to obtain additional information which will be placed on our website. The meeting is open to the public, so please attend if you are interested.
